HealthQ was established in 1971 as a 501c3 non-profit, specializing in sexual and reproductive health care to meet the needs of those who are disadvantaged by income, age, racism, and other social factors. Your financial support helps us continue our mission to offer care for people regardless of their ability to pay.
Investing in sexual and reproductive health, including access to birth control and abortion, yields enormous benefits for individuals, communities, and entire societies. When people can control their bodies, they can control their economic health, well-being and lives.
Since 1971, we have served hundreds of thousands of people who need our care. To make services inclusive and equitable, we are strategically located in underserved areas, and offer low or no cost care, transportation, language interpretation, and other ways to make services more accessible. We are unable to cover our operating costs through patient fees alone and rely on the generous financial support of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, foundations, and individual donors. On behalf of the hundreds of thousands of people who would have foregone or delayed care without your help over the years, thank you.
