The Patch

The Patch This ultra thin, square-shaped patch is much like a Band-aid. It adheres to the skin and emits hormones that prevent the ovaries from releasing eggs as well as thickening the mucus of the cervix to prevent mobility of the sperm. Fertility returns immediately after stopping the use of the patch. Less than 1 out of 100 clients will get pregnant each year if they always use the patch as directed. About 9 out of 100 individuals will get pregnant each year if they don’t always use the patch as directed. The patch may be less effective for people who are overweight. Talk with your healthcare provider if you are concerned about how well the patch may work for you.
