Removing Barriers to Care

Our mission is to provide sexual and reproductive health care—without judgement and without barriers. We recognize that our transgender patients encounter disproportionate barriers to care when compared to those with gender privilege, including higher rates of uninsurance due to job loss and job insecurity. HealthQ has a contract from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health to help cover the costs of gender affirming hormone therapy for transgender residents of Massachusetts who do not have insurance, or whose insurance does not cover this service.
