Regardless of whether you have prepared for a pregnancy or the pregnancy is unwelcome, there is a seemingly overwhelming amount of information to absorb. A simple and fast pregnancy test can be done privately in our office with one of our clinicians. After you provide a urine sample, a clinician will go over your result in as little as 5 minutes.
If you discover that you are pregnant unintentionally, a clinician will discuss all of your pregnancy options with you. The decision is yours alone to make. Take your time and ask us anything and we will give you as much information as you need. If you should desire to continue the pregnancy we will give you a referral to an excellent OB/GYN who will guide you through your pregnancy. If you choose to continue with the pregnancy and desire to place the baby with adoptive parents, we can also help you find the right agency that can guide you through that process. Or, if this pregnancy is not right for this time in your life and you choose to end the pregnancy, we will provide referral assistance upon request. In our Beverly location, we provide early and safe medication and aspiration abortion options. In our Lawrence location, we provide early and safe medication abortion options. Currently, about half (51%) of the 6.6 million pregnancies in the United States each year (3.4 million) are unintended.
If you are looking to start a family or add to the one you have we can suggest fertility specialists who can help you with your plans.

Health Quarters offers dating ultrasound to pregnant women from 6 to 14 weeks gestation.
A dating scan is carried out by ultrasound. The ultrasound technician will put gel on your abdomen and move a hand-held device called a transducer, back and forward over your skin. In some situations, such as when the scan is completed before 10 weeks of gestation or you have a high Body Mass Index, you may also need a vaginal scan. Your Health Quarters provider will let you know if this is needed.
The scan will take 5–10 minutes to perform. This is covered by most insurances.
